The short version
Board Cut Calc runs entirely in your browser. Your cut lists, measurements, and project data are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to us. There is no account to create and no email required.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personal information. The calculator performs all math client-side, so the numbers you type stay on your device and disappear when you close the tab.
Local storage
We use your browser’s local storage only to remember lightweight preferences, such as your light/dark theme choice. This data lives on your device and is never sent to a server. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics and cookies
If we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic, it is configured without cookies and without collecting personally identifiable information. We do not sell or share any data with advertisers.
Third-party services
The site is delivered as static files over a content delivery network. Those providers may log standard request metadata (such as IP address) for security and performance, governed by their own privacy policies.
Children’s privacy
Board Cut Calc is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone.
